He was predeceased by: his father Frank Dumschat. He is survived by: his children, Alexandra Bridget Dumschat and Hunter Frank Dumschat; his sister Denine Ellis; his mother Sylvia Dumschat; his stepson Evan McCourt; and his significant other Wakako Onoue.
