She is survived by: her husband Manuel Fontan; her children, Esperanza Fontan (Jorge Saafigueroa) and Francisco M. Fontan (Teri Pallares); her grandchildren, Naiara, Alba, Elizabeth and Alexander; her mother Carmen Castrelo; her brother Jose F. Cardalda; and also, Jose Francisco and Ines.
