She was predeceased by: her son-in-law Royd Garcia. She is survived by: her husband Gary Fikslin; her daughters, Stephanie Garcia (Randy) and Melanie Palen; her grandchildren, Evyn, Shayna, Jackie and Alex; and her siblings, Robert and Barbara.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the D.A.V., or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
