With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Trovato (Kearny, New Jersey), born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on May 7, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Trovato and Domenica Trovato; his wife Joan Trovato; and his brother Dr. Joseph Trovato. He is survived by: his sister Catherine Ingenito (Thomas).

He also leaves to cherish his memory his nieces and nephews Andrea, Laura, Anthony and Joseph.In lieu of flowers, kindly consider a donation to the A.S.P.C.A.

“How sad it has been to hear of John’s death. He wii be greatly missed by our entire family.John was a Veteran of the US Army , proudly served our country here and overseas during the Vietnam War. John worked for the town of Harrison for many years, doing a job he enjoyed , from which he subsequently retired. John and his wife loved animals and had nurtured many cats during their marriage. We lost a good friend and the world lost a good person. He is now in the Arms of our Lord . RIP, John ❤️🙏🏻”

“To johnny's family. We are so sorry over the loss of johnny.. We met him on 2 trips that we made to new jersey. We got to know him well as we went to a variety of restaurants. He was a very nice man and when we returned from new jersey to arizona, we kept in touch with him. He was very thoughtful and would send us cards and we would talk on the phone. We will miss not seeing him again and talking to him.. May god bless and comfort you in your time of sorrow. Dania and joe tetla”
