With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Smith Jr. of Kearny, New Jersey, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on November 11, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Ann Smith; and his parents, John F Smith Sr. and Theresa Rose Smith. He is survived by: his children, Diane Greco (Mike), Christopher Smith (Cathie) and John F. Smith III (Marisa); his grandchildren, Ian, Sean, Briana, Morgan and Taylor; and his great grandchild Mason.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Wounded Warriors or Tunnel to Towers foundations in Lt. Colonel Smith's honor would be appreciated.
