She was predeceased by: her parents, Barbara Gordy Belbey and Joseph E. Belbey. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Rathburn.
She earned a certificate in video and film production from New York University and spent her free time writing, directing and producing indie films including "Avocado Toast," "India: A Tourist's View," "The Threat of Cybercrime," and the award winning docu-series, "New York Passport." In lieu of flowers, donations to the School of Visual Arts Alumni Association http://www.sva.edu in Ms. Belbey's name would be appreciated.
