It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James S. Burns of Kearny, New Jersey, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on May 12, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his sisters, Patricia Steinbrick and Margaret Robertson. He is survived by: his significant other Bill Conover; and his brother Peter G. Burns. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews.
