She was predeceased by: her parents, Gaetano Surrago and Carmela Surrago; her son Francesco Zangari; and her sisters, Elvira and Linucca.

She is survived by: her husband Teodoro Zangari; her children, Cathy Rebelo (Helder) and Teo "Ted" Zangari (Sherri); her grandchildren, Helder "J. T.", Dante, Isabella and Teo; and her sister Nella Merlino.
