He was predeceased by: his child Romulo Aldea; and his sibling Pelolgo Aldea. He is survived by: his wife Maria (Benavidez); his children, Nelly Nerizon (Alejandro), Anthony Aldea (late Imelda), Chita Abad (Jose) and Sarah Cabanero (Orlando); and his siblings, Nimfa Santiago, Delfin Aldea, Pedro Aldea, Lourdes Tillo and Juliana Aldea. He is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
