It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward F Scanlon of Kearny, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on October 13, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia (McAlister); his close friend Sue DeWeil; his parents, Patrick J Scanlon and Henrietta Scanlon (Lockmyer); and his siblings, John, Owen, Joseph Scanlon, Mary Borowski and Patricia Jarocki.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Campos (Edward Campos), Edward Scanlon Jr. (Theresa) of Tampa, FL and Michael Scanlon (Sarah) of Indian Trail, NC; his grandchildren, Edward Campos Jr., Jessica Berroth (Scanlon), Taylor Campos, Tara Scanlon, Alyssa Scanlon, Lillian Scanlon and Ariana Scanlon; and his great grandchild Fraser Callan Berroth.
