She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Ostrom; and her sibling Mickey Williams. She is survived by: her children, Doreen Ostromkane (late James Kane), Jarlynn Hyde (Dennis), Robert Ostrom (Jean) and Arthur Ostrom (Nezi); her siblings, Bunny Quinlan and Suzie Batchlor; and her grandson Bobby Ciecwisz (Michelle).
