He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel P. McCann Sr. and Margaret A. McCann (Farrell); his parents-in-law, Arch and Mary Mauer; and his sisters, Pat Paxton and Kathy Whelan.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy A. McCann; his daughters, Mary Beth and Laura Jo; his sister Colleen Whelan (Jim); and his brother-in-law Patrick Whelen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. John's Soup kitchen, Newark, N.J. in Dan's memory.
