He is survived by: his children, Una McAlea, Kevin McAlea, Margaret Carpen (Mitch), Mary Frech (Gerard) and Deirdre Tonero (John); his grandchildren, Robert, Rachel, Kieran, Patrick and Aidan; and his siblings, Kathleen McAlea, Anne Creed, Tony McAlea and Patrick McAlea.
