He was predeceased by: his former wife Catherine De Carvalho; his grandson Edson De Carvalho, Jr.; and his son-in-law Gary Hensley. He is survived by: his wife Idalina De Carvalho; his children, Dr. Sueli Petry (Karl), Sonia Hensley (Richard J. Hildebrandt) and Edson De Carvalho (Shannon Ostoyic); his stepchildren, Roslaine Alves of Castro, Rosaine Alves of Castro and Idalina Paixão (Ezequiel); his grandchildren, Anthony Pecora, Jr. (Sarah Anastasia), Steven R. Pecora, Lorraine Johnson (Todd), Alexis De Carvalho and David De Carvalho; his stepgrandchildren, Sheila Separovich Mota, Franco Separovich, Silva, João Victor Separovich Silva, Sarah Paixão and Heitor Paixão; his great grandchildren, Kenna Johnson, Matti Johnson, Stella Catherine Pecora and Colette Therese Pecora; his stepgreat-granddaughter Julia Separovich of Castro Morais; and his nieces and nephews, Carlos Separovich (Zenilde), Richard Separovich (Jackie), Marcia Separovich, Michael Separovich (Michelle), João Antonio Oliveira, Marli Oliveira, Cidalia, Tony Matos, Viviana, Faustino Cruz, Angelina of Belli and Adriana Reis La Rosa.
