She was predeceased by: her son Carlos Ruiz. She is survived by: her husband Carlos; and her children, Aquilino Duffoo, Rosa Lartiga, Pilar Ruiz, Monica Simone, Jose Ruiz, Luz Rubio and Franz Ruiz. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
