He is survived by: his spouse Ilidia Antao Pereira; his children, Daniel Pereira (Vanessa), Jeffrey Pereira (Dana) and Jessica Pereira; his siblings, Manuel Pereira, Maria Aldina Cruz, Nazare Aleixo and Rosa Figueiredo; his sibling-in-law Amy Covas; and his grandchildren, Gabriel, Jeffrey, Juliana, Jonathan and Adrianna.
