He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Italian; his wife Agnes Battaglia; his children, Barbara Ann Montella and Santo Patrick Battaglia III; his sister Rachel Mecholsky; and his grandsons, Vincent Santo Montella (Yndira) and Anthony Joseph Montella (Judith). He was also cherished by Three great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
