He is survived by: his son Michael Monahan of Long Branch; his brother Dennis Monahan of Florida; his close friend Christine Dowling; his grandchildren, Morgan Monahan, Jimmie Gatson and Ginger Doherty; his nieces and nephews, Kevin, Maureen, Sharon, Colleen, Kathleen, Laureen and Michele; and also Gracie.
