She was predeceased by: her husband Enrique Rivera II; her parents, Fernando Gomezmaicas and Omaida Gomezmaicas (Toyos); and her sister Terry. She is survived by: her son Enrique (Areitha Rivera) of Highland Park, NJ; her siblings, Fred (Joann DeCicco-Maicas), Rose and Agnes (Dean); her extended family, Wanda, Hank, Alina and Ely Velez Sr.; her nephews, Michael, Franco and Marc; her great-niece Nidawi; and her great-nephews, Satori and Phoenix.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations to be made in Peggy's name to the American Cancer Society.
