He was predeceased by: his father Juan Velez. He is survived by: his mother Maria Velez (Arroyo) of Puerto Rico; his daughter Brandy Jacobs of Patterson; his siblings, Francisco Velez of Hazlet, Jeanette Velez of Puerto Rico and Alejandra Velez of Keansburg; and his girlfriend Sherrie Ryan of Keansburg. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
