With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Yvonne Moore in Jersey City, New Jersey, born in Greenville, Alabama, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Frank Moore Sr. and Clyde Turk; and her siblings, Charles El Turk, Eddie Lee Turk, Willie Frank Moore Jr., Shirley Ann Jackson, Mack Moore and Shirley Ann Moore Watson.
She is survived by: her daughter Angela Moore-Soumah (Diawad); her granddaughter Saleema GellerMoore (Suzanne); her great grandchildren, Saylah and Ani GellerMoore; and her siblings, Willie Nell Thompson, Diane Peters, Hope Wilkerson, Robert Moore, Donald Pendleton and Travis Wilkerson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Family Funeral Home (445 Monmouth St, Jersey City, NJ 07304). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A repast will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Legaci Events Center (114 Monticello Ave, Jersey City, NJ 07304).
