She was predeceased by: her husband Julio Tavares; and her siblings, Antonio, Asuncion, Dolores, Helen, Natividad, Victoria, Pedro, Eladio, Patricia, Victor, Celia, Luciano, Alfonso and Christiano.
She is survived by: her daughters, Virginia "Jeannie" Krostek (Richard) of Mendham and Evelyn Nikolayew (Nick) of Rockaway; her grandchildren, Nicholas, Jr. (Debbie), Michael (Kane), Laura (Valerio), Richard, Jr. (Jessica) and Jaclyn (Adam); her great grandchildren, Max, Dean, Sydney and Chase; and her sister Frances Quintero.
