She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Lapadula and Geraldine Lapadula (Calabrese); her husband Nicholas P. Baratta; her son Nicholas Baratta; and her siblings, Joseph (Lucy LaPadula) of Nebraska, Carmela, Piserchia (Lou) of Jersey City and Barbara Brady (Larry) of Homer, N. Y..
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Baratta (Irene) of Toms River and Nicole Earnest (Christopher) of Dunellen; her grandchildren, Geraldine Baratta, Nicholas S. Baratta (Christine), Makenzie (Michael Melia) and Jenna Baratta; her great grandchildren, Kaylee Earnest, Brendan Earnest, Colt Melia and Genero Melia; her brother John LaPadula (Ann) of Hackettstown; and her daughter-in-law Helen Baratta of Jersey City. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sheenan Funeral Home (233 Dunellen Ave, Dunellen, NJ 08812).
