She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Geiger and Lillian Ward Geiger; her husband James H Mitchell; her siblings, Robert Geiger and Eleanor Hengeveld; and her daughter Susan Mitchell.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Davies (Gary) and Thomas Mitchell (Cindy); her daughter-in-law Cindy; her grandchildren, Melissa, Neill Haskin, MD, Christopher and Valerie; her great grandchildren, Jayce, Adalynn, Logan Sellars, Isabella, Alyssa Toht and Patton; her sister-in-law Elaine Mitchell; her nieces and nephews, Edward Hengeveld (Florence), Karen Hengeveld, Robert Hengeveld, Robin Geiger, Lynne Geiger (Doug), William Mitchell (Phyllis), Edward Mitchell (Maria), Beverly Lovelace (Richard), Kimberly Mitchell, Robert Mitchell (Karen) and Renee Mitchell (Kevin); and her caregivers, Melissa, Robyn, Rae and Lillian.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to South Carolina Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired in memory of Lillian Marie Mitchell.
