He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Linda; his daughters, Christa Adelaide, Vania Lucinda and Lauren Josephine; his mother Adelaide Rodrigues Galvao (Sousa); his brother Anthony Paulo Sousa; his son-in-law Phillip Longo; his sister-in-law Liete Sousa; his daughters, Alyssa and Miranda; and his father Manuel.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation (3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd, Jersey City, NJ 07306). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, August 23rd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of Grace Church (400 Willow Ave, Hoboken, NJ 07030). An entombment was held on Friday, August 23rd 2024 at 12:15 PM at the St. Stephen's Cemetery & the Chapel at Short Hills (451 Millburn Ave, Millburn, NJ 07041).
