With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Ippolito (Jersey City, New Jersey), who passed away on December 31, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Tobia Ippolito and Lucrezia Ippolito; and his daughter Robin Marie. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ippolito; his siblings, Sanitella Santangelo (Frank Santangelo), Elvira Hassan (Alaa Hassan) and Johnie Ippolito; his nieces and nephews, Carmela Bello (Angelo Bello), Dr. Tobia Ippolito (Anne Ippolito), Lucretia Lord (Timothy Lord), Dan Ippolito (Anne Ippolito), Maggie McGuire (Ryan McGuire), Melissa Bengen (John Bengen), Dina Gerbasio (Vincent Gerbasio), Amanda Orellana (Rafael Orellana) and Adam Hassan; his siblings, Mary Khiry and Olivio Ippolito; and his nephew Frank Santangelo. He is also survived by many great-nieces and great-nephews, and countless cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation (3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd, Jersey City, NJ 07306). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Church (511 Pavonia Ave, Jersey City, NJ 07306). A burial was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Holy Name Cemetery (823 West Side Ave, Jersey City, NJ 07306).
