It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jose Gonzalez of Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on February 10, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jose Gonzalez to pay them a last tribute.
He is survived by: his wife Matilde Gonzalez (Laiño Romero); his children, Maria Gonzalez (Tom Gaspar), Jose Gonzalez and Paula Vega (Jose); his siblings, Carmen of Spain, Manuela of Spain and Manolo of Spain; and his grandchildren, David, Selena, Lauren, Emily and Ashley. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Buyus Funeral Home (426 Lafayette St, Newark, NJ 07105). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Benedict 's Church (65 Barbara St, Newark, NJ 07105).
