He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary E. O'Connor and John D. O'Connor; his sister Yvonne; his uncle Tommy Adest; and his close friend Edward F. Crawford.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation (3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd, Jersey City, NJ 07306). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (340 Ridge Rd, North Arlington, NJ 07031).
John was a hero for saving four people and doing organ donation of his body to help others.
