He is survived by: his parents, George Cleveland Yates Sr. and Albertha Joyce Yates of Willingboro, NJ; his wife Johnna Coleman-Yates; his children, George Cleveland Yates III of Richmond, VA and Giselle Simone Yates; his sister Laurenthia Kennedy (Nigel); his nephews, Brandon Kennedy (Niyah) and Tyler Kennedy of Edgewater Park; and his niece Chelsea Kennedy. He is also survived by aunts and uncles, cousins, family-in-loves, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Graves Funeral Home (1631 Church St, Norfolk, VA 23504). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary Revival Church (5833 Poplar Hall Dr, Norfolk, VA 23502).
