He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Owens Sr. and Romena Wiley; and his brothers, Samuel Owens Jr., Willie Frank Owens and Marshall Wiley.
He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Owens; his children, Bijan Owens and Kim Cox; his siblings, Carroll Wiley, Ronald Owens, Dick Owens (Awilda), Melvin Owens and Romena Owens; and his grandchildren, Julianna, Brandon and Dylan.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Riotto Funeral Home & Cremation (3205 John F. Kennedy Blvd, Jersey City, NJ 07306).
