She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Jane McLean and Don McLean (Don); her husbands, James Smith and Samuel Staggers; her siblings, Douglas Worley, Donnie Bell Long, Mary Reaves, Mary "Lill" Bethea, Hazel Funderburk and Mossie Bell Hall; her son Gregory Smith; and her grandson Justin Smith.
She is survived by: her sisters, Martha Rae Reaves of St. John's, FL, Willie Belle Rabb (James) of Walterboro, SC, Charlotte Harvey (Floyd) of Pfafftown, NC, Marilyn Maxwell and Carolyn Bethea; her children, Don Harold Smith (Earnestine), Dairea Rembert (David "Shug") of Mullins, SC and Donna Carter; her grandchildren, Tisha Boston (Randy) of Blythewood, SC, David Smith (Nakia), Jason Smith of Columbia, SC, DaminSmith of New Albany, IN, Dea Sellmer (Martin) of Jeffersonville, IN, Desmond "Reco" Stackhouse of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Douglas Dozier, Jr. of Tracy, CA, Precious Morton (Rob) of Atlanta, GA, Gregory Walters, Jr. (Ariel) of Indianapolis, IN and Erica Smith of Mullins, SC.; and her pet Sandy. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
