He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldred Sparkes and Kathryn Sparkes (Devine). He is survived by: his son Nicholas Sparkes; his stepdaughter Katelynne Culp; and his siblings, Kathy DiGiacomo, John Sparkes, Eldred Sparkes (Teddy), Elizabeth Smith, Judith Norman, Jay Sparkes and Thomas Sparkes. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
