He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie Melofchik and Michael P. Melofchik. He is survived by: his wife Margareta Melofchik (Greta); his daughters, Laura Castles and Danielle Mollitor; his sons-in-law, Gene Castles and Robert Mollitor; his grandchildren, Benjamin, Erin, Ryan, Claire, Matthew and Christian; his brother Robert Melofchik (Jodie); and his pet Macy. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers people may wish to donate to the 11th Hour Rescue, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the local Jefferson Township Rescue Squad.
