It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Melvin Wallgren (Jefferson Township, New Jersey), born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on February 23, 2019, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Wallgren and Therese Wallgren (Drange); his brother Wesley Wallgren; and his grandson Gavin Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Lucille Wallgren; his children, Tracy, Acquavella, Scott Wallgren and Michelle; his grandchildren, James, Brooke, Abbey, Scott, Angilena, Zac, Ethan and Kellen; his sister Evelyn Babich; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Caruso and Arthur Caruso (Edna). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
