He was predeceased by: his father Sylvester Onukwugha. He is survived by: his wife Nneka Onukwugha (Maduako); his children, Chukwuka Ihunwa Onukwigha, Chidozie Chimamkpa Onukwugha, Ammachi Nneka Onukwugha and Amaka Udo Onukwugha; his mother Edith Onukwugha (Osuoha); and his siblings, Victor, Alexander, Henry, Chidi, Gerard Onukwugha, Francesca Nwuawo, Angela Duruaku and Chioma Ihediohanma.
