He is survived by: his wife Sharda Patel of Piscataway; his son Hitendra Patel; his daughter-in-law Panna of Piscataway; his daughter Amita Patel; his son-in-law Narendra of Piscataway; and his grandchildren, Tanay, Urvil and Krima.
