She was predeceased by: her parents, Meredith Esworthy and Lucie Esworthy; her daughter Kathryn A. Newman; and her brother-in-law Henry Groff. She is survived by: her husband Richard A. Newman; her daughter Suzanne DiSogra; her son-in-law Robert DiSogra; her grandchildren, Matthew DiSogra and Andrew DiSogra; and also, Elizabeth Groff, Joan and Christopher Shaff. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
