She was predeceased by: her stepson James Christopher Spence. She is survived by: her husband Jim Spence of Jackson; her stepchildren, Andrea Spence-Ruggiero (David) of Howell and Laura Spence-Horaneck (John) of Jackson; her grandchildren, Rosemary, Rebecca, John Paul, Jessica Michael and David Michael; and her sisters, Leslie Strawhand of Maryland and Marienne Johnson of Myrtle Beach. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
