He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard L. Jacobs and Loretta Jacobs (McCloskey); and his brother Lawrence Jacobs. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betta" L Jacobs (Lenard); his sons, Willard J and Joshua M (Jenny Neely Jacobs); his grandchildren, Sadie, Nathaniel and Lola; and his siblings, Loretta Warnock, Thomas Jacobs, Elizabeth Maul, Kathleen Jacobs and Timothy Jacobs.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bill's memory to Tampa Zoo at Lowry Park.
