He was predeceased by: his sister Carol Benfante. He is survived by: his wife Patricia (Tripodi); his daughters, Lisa Della Femina (Fred) of Marlboro and Karen DeLaMarter (Rich) of Iselin; his grandchildren, Freddie, Kristina, Richie and Anthony; and his sister Lena Benfante. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Costello Runyon Funeral Home (1225 Green St, Iselin, NJ 08830). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 9:45 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. James Catholic Church (369 Amboy Ave, Woodbridge Township, NJ 07095). A burial was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 12:15 PM at the Resurrection Cemetery (361 Sharrott Ave, Staten Island, NY 10309).
