He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Grazmach Wubetu Reta and Tadfel Alemu; his wife Fantaye Zewdu; his son Mike Wubetu; and his family, Fantaye Zhedu, Alemayehu Wubetu, Ababa Wubetu and Theodoros Wubetu.
A funeral service was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Bisrate Gebriel Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church (1046 S Orange Ave, Newark, NJ 07106).
