He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen E. Abel. He is survived by: his children, Theresa Ambrosio (Ciro), Roy K. Abel III (Danielle), Joseph P. Abel and Mary E. Abel; his granddaughters, Lia, Olivia, Victoria and Rebecca; and his brothers, Ronald Abel (Nancy) and Richard Abel (Karen).
