He is survived by: his parents, Kenneth Forbes and Agnes Forbes (Syme); his brothers, David and Kenneth Forbes; his wife Kathleen Forbes (Knochel); his sister Moria Zapata (Leo); his niece Cameron Zapata; and his nephews, Christian Zapata, John Forbes, David Forbes and Robert Forbes.
