She was loved and cherished by many people including: her grandmother Alice; her parents, Jean Dean and Walter Dean; her husband David Schreiber; her sons, William (Stefanie LoSavio) of Durham and Michael of Cranston; her siblings, Walter Dean Jr. (Lillian Dean) of Huntington Woods, Mary Alice Dean (Alan Solomon) of Woodbridge and Margaret Hillman (Thomas Hillman) of Reston, Virginia; her parents-in-law, Barbara and Jack Schreiber of New City; and also, Jean, Walter Dean, Janet Herbstman (David Herbstman) and Jennifer Saal. She was also cherished by twelve nieces and nephews and five great-nieces and nephews, and more friends.
