He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Gomes and Rosa Gomes; and his wife Barbara Vrabel. He is survived by: his children, Gregory Gomes and Barbara Lynne McCue (James); his grandchildren, Jonathan McCue (Cassandra), Bryan Gomes (Jasmine) and Christine Medvecky (Christopher); his great grandchildren, Cameron, Lucas Medvecky and Theodore McCue; and his sister Bella Barbosa.
