It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Jones of Irvington, New Jersey, who passed away on December 23, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jones and Louise Anderson-Williams; his son Marcus Austin-Jones; his brother Eddie Williams; and his sister-in-law Annie Roberts-Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Cherlyn Jones; his daughters, Deanjra Smith and Ashley Freeman-Williams; his son-in-law Devin Smith; his grandchildren, Imani Smith, Deshawn Smith, Makai Teamor-Williams and Lyric Clark; his siblings, Leroy Williams, Helen Johnson and Anna Gaither; his siblings-in-law, Joseph Gaither, Keith Williams, Leon Williams, Queenie Williams and Jacqueline Williams; and his in-laws, Leon Blake and Ella Blake. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
