He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Hodges and Evelyn Hodges-Harris; his siblings, Leola Hodges, Cleveland Hodges, Lorene Liggins, Lucille Littlepage, Ora Lee Boone, Dorothy Reed, Rev. John Harris and Deacon Willie Hodges Jr.; his sons, Leroy Hodges Jr., William Ross Hodges and Steven Hodges; and the mothers of children, Wealtha Lee Hodges, Diane Daniels, Agnes E. Haynes, Louvenia Williams and Emma Goodman (Elizabeth Hodges).
He is survived by: his sister Patricia Belle; his sister-in-law Jacqueline Hodges; his children, Willie B. Williams (Eleanor), Anitenette Hodges, Phylliss Hodges-Hayden, Annette Lewis (Gary), Anthony Hodges Sr., Belinda Brown (Charles), Michael Haynes (Alicia), Denise Hodges, Dwaine Haynes and Royce Hodges (Katrina); and his friends, Pastor Arthur Cook and Missionary Annie Brown. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, a host of cousins.
