Gerald Betzner Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Betzner of Irvington, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on January 19, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Betzner and Estelle Betzner; his wife Josephine Librizzi; his children, Jill, Gerald Betzner Jr. (Jennifer) of Warren, NJ and Karen Betzner (Jim Simkalo) of Sausalito, CA; his grandsons, Charlie, Sam, Jacob, Thomas and Nick; and his brother Bill of Florida. He was also cherished by other loving friends and relatives.

Due to Covid concerns, the family had a small, graveside service.

In lieu of followers, donations can be made to the Children's Craniofacial Association at ccakids.org.
