He was predeceased by: his wife Diane Alice Walsh; his parents, Edward Castner and Veronica Castner; and his brother Richard. He is survived by: his daughters, Eleanor and Laura; his grandson Dylan; and his brothers, Peter, Douglas and Gregory. He is also survived by extended family including his cousins, nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
