It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William J. FitzGerald of Howell, New Jersey, born in Edgewater, New Jersey, who passed away on February 27, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack FitzGerald and Beatrice FitzGerald; his sister Barbara Wilcox; his cousin Michael McPartland; and his brother-in-law Alan Howard.

He is survived by: his wife Joan FitzGerald; his daughter Noreen DeMarinis (Vincent) of Howell; his grandchildren, William FitzGerald of Washington, DC, Vinnie (Lea), Jenna, Megan, Jack and Kelly; and his sisters, Noreen Howard and Jean Bartos. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home (100 Elton-Adelphia Rd, Freehold Township, NJ 07728). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Co-Cathedral (61 Georgia Rd, Freehold Township, NJ 07728).
